How to stay alive:- make sure you portion out your food so you will have enough to last you for a while

- think of others and not just yourself

- save everything that will be useful to you

- try to stay warm at all times

- make sure you can always find water and food

- find a good place with shelter that you can hide and live in that is also warm

- make sure you have warm clothing

- if you find any sort of steel or metal or anything that could be used as a weapon pick it up and take it with you

- try and find wood to light a fire to help keep you warm and if you have anything that could light it then light it that way or rub the wood together very quickly to try and start a fire

- you need to be the sort of person that doesn't give up and keeps on pushing to get to the end. You need to be optimistic so then you won't give up. You need to be ready for anything or any situation that can be thrown at you. You need to be able to survive without a lot of food and water for a long time.

What is life like for refugee children now?Children all over the world are starving and don't have enough food to live. Most refugee children are extremely skinny because of the lack of food and water and are very dehydrated. Refugee children aren't as lucky as us to have wi-fi and be full after every meal. They don't have the luxury of sleeping in a nice and comfortable bed or going out to a restaurant and getting takeaways. Some refugee children are forced to work and don't get much for their hard work and labor. Some children get separated from their parents because their parents have to go to war or for various other reasons. But some get separated from their parents to go to war. Some children who consider themselves lucky to not have to be a child soldier also can work as a cook, delivering messages or cleaning for mainly adult soldiers. Children who are enrolled in school are less likely to be recruited as they can't recruit every kid from the school.

This is how much food one person was allowed per week. This is definitely not enough food for a week.

This is how many coupons it costs to buy pieces of clothing.

People only got 66 coupons a year which was not enough to supply themselves with what they needed

During WW2 they had a rescue mission called Kindertransport. This rescue mission took place during the nine months prior to the outbreak of the Second World War. The United Kingdom took nearly 10,000 jewish children from Germany, Austria,Czechoslovakia, Poland, and the Free City of Danzig. The children were put in foster homes, hotels, schools and farms. Often the children were the only one in the family who survived. It was hard to find food and shelter and they didn't have many supplies and things to make beds, blankets and other supplies that you use everyday. They only got 66 coupons to buy their clothing which was not enough as you could probably only get 6 pieces of clothing. Also they didn't get much food.
