How to set up a Google apps account using UCI Google apps

Disclaimer: Although I have used the following steps to set up my own google apps account, the procedure may be different for students.

First, go to

http://www.google.uci.edu

you should see something like this:

then click on Set up/ Renew Students;

click on activate set a password.

Authenticate and follow the instructions,

Your account is already created; after setting up your password you should see this page

click on Login into UCI Google Apps

Authenticate

accept the conditions (unless you have something against them)

Now you need to set up your Google Drive, any progress done in class will be stored in you Google Drive. Click on Drive,

set your Google drive and accept the terms and conditions.

Now go to https://www.juliabox.org/

click Sign in via Google

put your ici login and you password, the first time JuliaBox will ask to have access to your google drive and some information. Click accept.

Julia Box will look like this. Now you can start exploring the python notebooks by yourself, double click one of the notebooks

se sure to have the julia 0.3.11 kernel and click OK

Click OK again

And start exploring the notebooks !!!
