How To Run Payroll

Let’s get started. Visit www.SurePayroll.com and select “Login” on the top navigation.Enter your user name and password under the Payroll Administration Login.

Note: Instead of “Begin Payroll” you may see “Continue Payroll” if the payroll has already been started.

A. Click the orange “Begin Payroll” button to access the Payroll Entry screen and start payroll.

Dashboard

Once logged in your company’s Dashboard will display. (You may also see a page to Verify Contact Information or be taken to SureCheck if you haven’t logged in since enrollment.)

Payroll Entry

The Payroll Entry screen displays workers by pay type: hourly, salaried and 1099 contractors. Any inactive or incomplete workers are grouped at the bottom.

A. Enter hours for all hourly employees or contractors; amounts for salaried workers already display.

B. Make additional changes. You can add extra pay amounts, like commission, change the check date, run an extra payroll and also add additional checks, if needed.

C. After entering all information, click “Preview Payroll” at the bottom of the screen.

Calculate Payroll

Once Preview Payroll is selected, the system will calculate payroll. You’ll see the Calculating Payroll screen.

A. View the information at the top for accuracy. You’ll see a summary of what SurePayroll will do for the payroll in the fi rst section. The second section shows what actions you may need to take.

B. Further information is found on the Summary tab or click the Details tab for more information.

C. If accurate, click the confi rmation box and then the “Approve Payroll” button.

D. For changes, click the “Edit Payroll” button.


That’s it! Your payroll is done.

Next, you’ll be taken to thePayroll Approval screen.

Payroll Preview

Payroll Preview is where you’ll check for accuracy before approving your payroll.

D. Provides totals of your payroll.

Payroll Approval

After approving payroll, you’ll see the Payroll Approval screen. This “receipt style” format gives you a summary of your payroll.
