HOW TO REGISTER REMOTE SYSTEM SECRET CODE

Each individual secret code is registered inside the transmitter, and so it is necessary to resister

these codes with the EEPROM inside the Keyless-Entry ECU in the following cases.

 ‧ hen the transmitter or Keyless-Entry ECU is re!laced

 ‧ "f it a!!ears that a !ro#lem is occurring #ecause of faulty registration of a code.

 $ ma%imum of four different codes can #e stored in the EEPROM memory &four different

transmitters can #e used'.

hen the code for the first transmitter is registered, the !reviously registered codes for all

transmitters are cleared. (herefore, if you are using four transmitters or are adding more

transmitters, the codes for all transmitters must #e registered at the same time.

). Push the driver side inside loc* *no# to unloc* !osition.+. (urn the ignition switch from offonoff times within five seconds after you insert the

ignition *ey.

. (hen !ush the driver side inside loc* *no# from unloc*loc*unloc*loc* within five

seconds. (he Keyless-Entry ECU flash turn-signal lam! twice automatically. (he Keyless-Entry

ECU is ready to register an encry!ted code.

. Push the unloc* #utton of first transmitter. hen the encry!ted code has #een registered, the

Keyless-Entry ECU unloc*s the doors and flash turn-signal lam! once.

If you are using two or more transmitters or have ae a se!on transmitter" the same

transmitter. (he Keyless-Entry ECU will unloc* the door and the turn-signal lam! will flash once

to inform you that the second transmitter has registered successfully.
