Lo stereotipo femminile

Lo stereotipo femminile è prevalente incentrato su comportamenti pro-comunità: l’accudimento, aiuto, interesse per i propri cari e per gli amici (Broverman,Vogel, Broverman, Clarkson, & Rosenkrantz, 1972; Eagly, 1987; Spence & Sawin, 1985)

In generale sono approvati i comportamenti collaborativi nei confronti della comunità e disapprovati quelli individualisti (Glick &Fiske, 1996; Spence & Helmreich, 1978; Williams & Best, 1990; Wood, Christensen, Hebl, & Rothgerber, 1997).
