How to please God in worship?

Worship remind us the value of our life, yet the world let us

forget about it.

Jesus is the sacrificial Lamb (God said,) “No one is to appear

before me empty-handed.” (Exodus 23:15, 34:20; Deuteronomy 16:16)

Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. (Romans 12:1)

Pray always Intercession

Jesus is the High Priest Because he himself suffered

when he was tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted. (Hebrews 2:18)

May my prayer be set before you like incense; may the lifting up of my hands be like the evening sacrifice. (Psalm 141:2)

Draw near to God

Jesus is our Mediator of the New Covenant Therefore he is able to save completely

those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them…Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. (Hebrews 7:25, 4:16)

28 Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us

be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe,29 for our “God is a consuming fire.”

(Hebrews 12:28-29)

How to please God in worship?

• Worship God with faith in Jesus Christ• Worship God by offer yourself to live for Christ• Worship God by living a holy life • Worship God by listening and obeying His

word• Worship God by living out the Gospel • Worship God by always praying• Worship God by closely walk with Christ
