The Daniel Guggenheim School of Aerospace Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology inv i tes nominat ions and applications for a lecturer position. Position is a full-time, permanent, non-tenure track appointment. Primary responsibilities for the position include teaching and service work with an emphasis on enhancing the teaching mission of the school. Ideal candidates will be passionate about engineering education and have evidence of exceptional course design, innovative instruction, and dedication to ensuring student mastery of engineering fundamentals. The appointments are envisioned as nine months, but have the possibility of expanding to 12 months. An advanced degree in aerospace engineering, engineering education or related field is required. CIVIL & ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING

The School of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Cornell University (Ithaca campus) seeks candidates for a tenure-track position in the area of sustainable subsurface energy systems. Preference will be given to candidates with core expertise in geomechanics and/or multiphase, geochemically active fluid flow through porous media, though other distinguished candidates, with more general expertise in solid and structural mechanics, are also encouraged to apply. Ideal candidates would focus their expertise on fundamental study supporting sustainable solutions for engineered subsurface energy applications, such as engineered geothermal systems, CO2 sequestration, and unconventional oil and gas operations, with an emphasis on understanding and managing the environmental impacts of the technologies. It is expected that the successful candidate will develop a distinguished research program focused on the intersection of energy technologies and fundamental understanding of subsurface processes. PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE

The Department of Engineering at Texas Christian University invites applications for an assistant, associate, or full professor of professional practice (P3) faculty position in the Department of Engineering. While a doctorate in engineering or a closely related field is preferred, candidates with at least 30 hours of graduate-level study will be considered. Candidates must have experience working in industry as an engineer. Candidates must have broad interests in engineering and be able to teach undergraduate courses from the freshman through the senior level of courses associated with either mechanical or electrical engineering. The successful candidate will have relevant experience and a strong interest in effective undergraduate teaching: integrating theory, applications, and laboratory practice. A bachelor of science degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or related degree from an ABET-accredited program is preferred. MATERIALS SCIENCE

The Department of Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison seeks new faculty at the assistant professor level.
