how to modify J_2IACCBAL table openingbalancesThis question has been Answered.

sir

i have updated wrong data in excise teble and after that i have posted some tresanction in this year

after go live in 1 april kindly is there any way to change those balances in that table

or how to change last year closing balances of 31st march2008

Hi,

In the J2I9 extraction, the program is not considered J_2IACCBAL table and its considered the

following table -

Tables

TABLES j_1ipart1.

TABLES j_1ipart2.

TABLES j_1iexchdr.

TABLES j_1iexcdtl.

TABLES j_1imovend.

TABLES j_1iexgrps.

TABLES j_1iwrkcus.

TABLES lfa1.

Please check the Excise user and ask is it possible to adjust the values in this financial year, if

yes then

do the adjstment through J1IH.

Table updation is not a good practice and it give problems in future

Hi,

This can be done through following ways -

1. Debit the excess amount or credit the shortage amount in this year through J1IH adjustment.

2. Table updation but this will only at table level but not effect the financial entries but it effect in

registers

go to transaction SE16N and enter the table name and selection data. In the top write &SAP_EDIT

and press enter then execute the transaction. then table now be in editable and in that you can add or

delete the values
