Standard window well installation

Please consult local codes regarding window and win-

dow well installation. The width of the window well

needs to be the width of the window plus a few inches

on either side. Projection to be determined by window

type. Egress windows need at least a 36” projection

in the USA. Depth into ground is determined by the

depth of the window below grade plus 8-12”.
