How to make online Year 9 subject selections

1. Go to www.stream.school.nz and enter the Portal – tab to top right of homepage

2. Enter your son’s name – in the format of first name, dot, last name i.e. aaron.columbus. Enter the password emailed to you.

3. You will arrive to this page, the Portal homepage. Choose ‘Course Selections’ on menu to the far left of the homepage.

4. You will arrive at ‘Course ‘Selections’. Each line has a drop down menu. Choose options as per instructions in the Year 9 option handbook i.e. either four half-year options, or one full year and two half year etc. You must also select back up options, in the instance your son’s first choices are not available. Sports Institute courses are by application only (refer to handbook for details) and can be selected once, so sit under line four and in the subject back up lines.

5. You must tap ‘Save’ when selections are made. Selections will not confirm in our

systems otherwise. You are able to make changes at a later date, and again, need to ensure any changes are saved.
