How to Make a Citrus and Vinegar HouseholdCleaner

Method 1 of 4: Preparing the Citrus Peels

1. Peel citrus fruits, such asoranges or lemons. The peelswill be mixed with vinegar tocreate your solution. Eithereat the fruit or use it inanother recipe.

2. Fill the bottle or jar with citrus peel. Depending on the size of the opening, you may need tochop the peel to fit. And be sure to fill the entire jar with peel.

Method 2 of 4: Adding the Vinegar

1. Pour the white vinegar into the jar or bottle. Fill almost to the top, leaving enough spaceneed to cap the bottle or screw on the jar lid.

Method 3 of 4: Blending the Mixture

1. Place the jar or bottle in a cool,dry area. Allow the mixture to blendand “marinate” for approximately10 days. This will help the essentialoils to mix with the vinegar, whichnot only creates a good odor, butalso turns this liquid into a potentcleaner.
