Air filters
Check Every two months…Change it once a year/15,000 milesA blackened air filter means replacement
is needed.
Battery
Check as often as possible Change every 2 to five years Car batteries can fail due to age or defect
Belts
Check every monthOnly change when the belts don't seem
right...There are different types of belts that
should be checked
Exhaust
Check depending on how far and how often you drive your car
Changing your exhaust is costly and difficult because its part of a system
Wiper baldes
A reservoir that helps keeps you windshield and wipers clean and working properly
Inspect or check these whenever you can should be replaced at least once a year
Car fluids
So many car fluids serve for different functions in your car
There's washing fluid, transmission fluid, power steering fluid, engine oil, brake fluid, and anti freeze.
Hoses
There are many types of hoes to check on when looking at a car
The most important is the fuel pumpCheck to see if there are any wholes/leaks
or any damage if so replace
Tires
Check monthly Keep a record of tire rotationRotate at the first 5,000 miles and every
7,500 miles thereafter.
Shock absorbers
No specific time to checkLook for oil seepage on themAlways replace shock absorbers in pairs
lights
Check and make sure all lights are working properly
No specific time to check or change Replace when damaged, clean when dirty
Oil filters
To maintain peak performance, change oil every 3,000 miles or 3 months,
Replace oil filter with every oil changeCheck oil filters as often as you get a tune
