How to join a google classroom

You will need your Hwb username and password for this—please email

ictsupport@denbighhighschool.co.uk if you don’t have yours with you.

1. Google—google classroom!

2. Click on sign in on the

right and then click on

google classroom

3. It will ask you to choose an account.

You need to use your HWB username

and password so will need to click on

Use another account

4. Enter your HWB email address in the

email box

5. This will direct you to HWB

where you can enter your

username and password

6. You will then be redirected back to your google classroom page. All learners in KS3 already have an ICT google classroom up and running

7. To join a new class, click on the + sign and select join class

8. Enter the class code which your teacher will have provided via Show My Homework

Troubleshooting If at any point, getting into google classroom does not work, you need to click on the coloured circle with your initial in it—this is top right of the screen. You need to make sure that you are logged in with your hwb account here—it will default back to your most fre-quently used account so you need to double check this. If you click on add another account, you can add the hwb one and then switch easily to this account when needed.
