How to install SofTest for PC (Laptop Users)
The following instructions will demonstrate how to install SofTest on your PC and how to take a
mock exam.
1. Open Firefox.
2. Copy and paste your college's link into the web address bar.

3. Login using your Student ID (885#)* and ExamSoft Password.
*Note: Dentistry students should use their ExamSoft ID provided by the college.
4. Click the SofTest tab in the upper left corner.
5. After checking your system requirements, click the download button in Step 2.

6. Save the installation file to your Downloads or Desktop folder.
7. Go to your Downloads or Desktop and double-click the installation file.
8. The SofTest Installer will open. Click Next and the installer will guide you through
the steps necessary to install SofTest.

Once the installation is successful, click Finish.

9. To confirm SofTest is installed and running smoothly, follow the steps below to
open the application and take a mock exam.
On the Desktop, click the shortcut for SofTest v11.
Next, login with your Student ID (885#)* and your ExamSoft Password. Click Register.
*Note: Dentistry students should use their ExamSoft ID provided by the college.

Once you have successfully registered, click Ok.
Click Download Exam Files.

Put in your Student ID number (885#)* and your ExamSoft password to download the exam file.
*Note: Dentistry students should use their ExamSoft ID provided by the college.
Select the mock exam titled "EdTechs Mock Exam-Space" by clicking on the title of the exam to
highlight it. Once highlighted, click Download to download the exam file to your computer.

Click OK when the download is successful.
Click Done after the download is successful.

To begin the mock exam, click Take An Exam.
Select the mock exam you just downloaded from the Available Exams drop down menu.

Enter the exam password (edtech1). Click Start and proceed with taking the mock exam.
At the end of your exam, you should receive a green checkmark confirming your exam has been
uploaded successfully.
