1) Please make sure you have install java 6 update 45. If not, click at java icon on right side

2) Click Save File

3) Double click the installer

4) Click Install

5) After installing, click Start / Windows and go to Control Panel

6) Click View by. Choose Large icons

7) Click Programs and Features

8) Click Java. If you cannot see the icon, please restart your computer.

9) Go to Update tab, untick Check for Updates Automatically

10) Click Never Check

11) Then, go to Advanced tab, click Security->Mixed Code. Check Enable – hide warning and run with protections. then, click Apply and OK.

12) Then, click run or windows key (represented by a flag) +r

13) Type msconfig. Click OK

14) Go to tab startup and untick Java Tm Platform Se Auto Updater 20.Click Apply and OK

For Google Chrome :-

1) Right click on Chrome short-cut icon, choose Properties:

2) Add “—allow-outdated-plugins” to the end of Target: entry as below (double dash before allow). Click Apply and OK.

For Mozilla Firefox :-

1) click Firefox -> Options -> Menu Bar to enable the menu bar

2) Click menu Tools -> Add-ons

3) Click Ask to activate and turn off the page by clicking x

4) Open http://itportal.iium.edu.my/advise and open CAM Entry

5) Click Activate Java (TM) Platform

6) Click either one of the button

7) Enter username, password and database. Click Connect.

8) Click NO.
