How To Insert a Video in Canvas

The Ensemble Embed Code and HTML Plug-in codes can be inserted into a Canvas Assignment area and Pages area to share content with your users.

Login to your Canvas Site Enter your Canvas username/password and click on Log In.

Go to Your Course Site Once you have logged in, you will need to go to your “course.”

Go to Announcements (or Pages) and Make an Announcement (or Create HTML Page) Go to the “Pages” section of your site and select “Edit” or “Create a New Page.” Note: You can also insert a single video embed code in the Assignments section of Canvas.

How To Insert a Video in Canvas

Insert a Single Video: Click the Switch Views Link Above the content editor click on the “Switch Views” link so you can enter the Ensemble Video “Embed Code.“

Paste the Ensemble Video Embed Code into the Text Field Paste your “Embed Code” into the text field. Click “Save Changes” to save your changes. Your video has been added to Canvas.
