PARKINGIt is recommended that attendees to use public transportation and taxis to reach MIT. Boston’s public transportation system, the MBTA, known as “the T”, was the first subway in the United States and continues to be one of the easiest ways to get around Boston/Cambridge. Public transportation fares and schedules may be found at the MBTA website. The closest MBTA stop is Kendall/MIT on the Red Line. Whenever possible, park your car at the hotel and use public transportation or taxis to get to the MIT campus. If you must drive to the campus, we have reserved the Building E51 parking lot (2 Amherst St., see map location below). There are only 50 parking spots so first come, first served. Please show your NEMC conference registration from Eventbrite to the parking attendant. Be aware that there is a lot of construction in progress in this area.

On- and off-street parking is available for a fee, but most public parking is not very close to the center of the MIT campus.
