How To: Exclude from Modeling Task Definition: Final Approvers and Modeling Managers are able remove an employee role(s) from the entire salary increase modeling process. Steps – From the Model and View Pools menu option, select the desired pool •Click on [Model] or [View] the pool depending on who is in control of the pool •Select the employee roles to be ‘excluded’ From the dropdown box, select ‘Exclude from modeling’ Click on [Apply to Selected] Review ‘Validation Warning’ Click on [Submit Anyway] To ‘include’ these roles, from the Define My Pools menu option, click on the link under Exclusions Select those employee roles to ‘include’ Click on [Include Selected] E-mail will be sent overnight In this task – Final Approvers and Modeling Managers are able to ‘exclude ‘ employee roles from the salary increase modeling process. Task Definition: Final Approvers and Modeling Managers are able remove an employee role(s) from the entire salary increase modeling process.

Click on [Submit Anyway ] to advance to the next slide.

Select the employee role(s) to be excluded from modeling salary

changes.

From the dropdown box, select ‘Exclude from

modeling’. Note: Only Modeling Managers

have this option.

Review the Validation Warning.

Note: The target amount increase will be recalculated

based on the removal of these roles.

To see the ‘Exclusions’ navigate to the ‘Define My

Pools’ page; click on the hyperlink to see the

employee role(s) excluded.

Reminder: The target amount increase will be recalculated

based on the addition of these roles.

You can ‘include’ these employee roles back to a pool for modeling,

at any time, by selecting an employee role(s) and clicking on

[Include Selected].

Click on [Include Selected] to complete this task.

Tip: Once re-included, the role(s) will go the ‘MM’ pool and can be

delegated to another pool if desired.
