How to enroll Windows Phone 8.1 devices in SoMobile

Introduction This document provides a detailed step-by-step to enroll your Windows Phone 8.1 device in the SoMobile solution.

Prerequisite 1. A specific Organization Group with BASIC authentication mode must be created first by SoMobile Team, and Windows Phone 8 user must be created

in BASIC mode with AirWatch dedicated username and password

2. You must have the mail sent by SoMobile that contains user credentials and some instructions to enroll device.

3. You will need a Microsoft Live account in order to download the AirWatch application from the Windows Phone Store, which is needed to enroll. If

you don’t have one, please go to this link and follow instructions to create one : https://signup.live.com/

4. The device must be connected to internet via a mobile broadband or a Wi-Fi network

5. User must be member of dedicated SoMobile security group in ActiveDirectory in order to have access to corporate email synchronization.

6. If a corporate ActiveSync account is already configured on the device, it must be deleted before enrollment. It will be created by SoMobile.

Enrollment Steps Illustrations Instructions

On your Windows Phone, launch “Windows Store” then search for “Airwatch MDM Agent” and open its page.

Tap on “install” then “allow”.

When installation is complete, tap on “view” then “AirWatch MDM Agent” to launch the application.

Check “Continue without email address”, then enter the URL provided in the enrollment email (without “https://”) in the “Host Name” and enter your “Group ID” then tap “Next”. On the next screen, enter your credentials provided in the SoMobile activation email then tap “Next”.

Select your device ownership :

- Corporate Dedicated if device is provided by Sodexo

- Corporate Shared if it is your

personal device used for business

- Employee Owned if it is your personal device

Tap on “Next” when chosen. Tap then on “Accept” if asked.

Then, you will have to follow instructions that are displayed on the screen. Copy the second field, then exit AirWatch Agent, and go to “Settings \ Workplace” and tap “add account”.

Enter your Sodexo mail address and tap on “sign in”

Wait, on field named “Password”, paste

the Password that was copied in the previous step then tap “sign in”. When the next screen is displayed, go back to the AirWatch Agent by holding the return key ()

In the AirWatch Agent, copy the first field then go back to the Workplace Settings by holding the return key ( ) Paste the temporary Server in the corresponding field, then tap « sign in ».

Once finished, tap “Done”. The enrollment process is complete.

If not already set, you will be asked to set a passcode for device unlocking: tap on “set”. Set a new passcode and confirm it, then tap “done”.

You’ll get a notification, tap on it. You will be asked for your email password. Enter it, then tap “Save”.

Your mails are now synchronizing.
