This programme is intended to give you a basis for understanding marketing. But let us have some fun learning it.
Participants will first explore core marketing concepts both from a strategic and tactical point of view. They then will practice their skills in Markstrat, an engaging business simulation that provides an environment that stimulates reflection, assimilation and application of core market-ing concepts. The feedback and review process during the exercises, and simulation rounds help achieve long-lasting participant engagement.

Profile of Expected Participants
This programme will be held at Chennai Centre of IIM Trichy. This programme is non- residential in nature, spread over three days. Participants must report at the venue on 3rd October 2017 (Batch I) and 24th October 2017 (Batch II) by 9.00 am for registration.
Programme Fee
The lead learner - Prof. Suresh Paul, is a Fellow of the Indian Institute of Management Lucknow. Besides, he holds a post-graduate degree in management from Madurai Kamaraj University. A firm believer of participant-centred learning, he enthusiastically experiments with learner centred methodologies like simulation, case method, and discussions in class rather than solely lecture.
A Instructor certified by StratX Simulations of Paris for MediaPro, BrandPro, and Markstrat Simulations, he has attended the Global Colloquium on Participant-Centered Learning at the Harvard Business School. He has also undergone training on academic leadership in the UK.
From 1985 and over the next 14 years he served across India and gathered hands-on customer interface experience in the automotive, financial services, direct selling, and music retailing industries. His corporate experience spans business and consumer markets, rural and urban, and product and services marketing as well. Since 1999 he has held academic and administrative appointments at IIM [Kozhikode], XLRI [Jamshedpur], & TSM [Madurai]. And visiting academic appointments at the Asian Institute of Management [The Philippines], IIM [Lucknow] and Amrita School of Business [Coimbatore].
In his consulting and training assignments he has worked with Merck Serano, Asian Paints, GMMCO Ltd., IFFCO Ltd., TVS & Sons Ltd., TVS Coach Ltd., TVS Srichakra Ltd., Indian Railways, India Post, Khadi & Village Industries Commission, Small Industries Product Promotion Organisation Ltd. among others.
