How to Enroll, add a class and pay for CSN classes

1st step is to apply to the college…..this is done online…you will then get an ID #

Step 1: Applying for CSN. This is process of telling the college you want to take classes at CSN. You are a “future student”. Before you proceed, be sure you have an email address you use and check regularly

You are going to “apply” to CSN

Now, they ask you to “apply” again, but with a different link

Now, if everything is working, this screen should pop up. You need to fill out the information (Social Security number is optional), do the successive pages and survey, then submit. If you have any fields blank that need to be filled in, the form will let you know. If you are doing this in August or May, you are applying for the fall term. If this is December or January, it will be the Spring term.

When this is submitted, (no fee required for “Jumpstart”), CSN will email you an ID #, (NSHE#) and a temporary password. You are then ready to move on to Step 2, enrolling for the class.

Step 2, enrolling in the classwww.csn.eduWith your

NSHE # (ID Number) in hand, you are now an “enrolled, or “Current Student”.This number, along with a temporary password should have been emailed by CSN to the address you supplied on your application

You now need to register for the term you need, either fall (August) or spring (January)

At this point, I cannot show you any more screens. You will need to do two things in this next phase

1. Find your course by entering the following information. Catalogue number credits Course ID number

1st Period HIST 101 History 3 94614

2nd Period HIST 101 History 3 94617

2. Pay for your course $68.50 for 3 creditsWhen you have properly entered the correct course info, you will then be asked to pay. To finalize registration, you must pay at this time.

•The easiest way is to pay with a credit card…have your info handyOr

•You can go through the process of writing an “echeck”. This is where you take a paper check, then enter all the fancy numbers at the bottom and the amount for the class.
