Major Candidates

• This section includes the platform that each candidate ran on to get elected. This can include plans for domestic policy and foreign policy.

• Includes legislation and important events that happen during the presidency that occur inside the country or involve the United States

• Example:“Trade Expansion Act of 1962”,

“creation of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission”, and “Tonkin Gulf Resolution”

• Includes foreign wars, treaties, and other important foreign events.
