CONFIGURING EVENT REPORT DIGITAL SIGNALS IN SEL-421 RELAY USING THE AcSELerator QUICKSET

SOFTWARE

Open the AcSELerator

QuickSet software

Click the ‘Parameters’

option from the ‘Communication

s Menu’

Enter the correct

parameters and click ‘OK’

Click ‘Read’ from the ‘File’

menu

Wait till the settings are downloaded

from the Relay

Settings Can be viewed/edited

after being downloaded

Click the ‘Event Reporting

Digitals’ from the ‘Report’

menu

Choose the relay digital

elements which are required in the disturbance

record

Choose the individual elements from this

menu

These arrows can be used to select/deselect digital elements

The Digital elements

chosen can be viewed here

The modified settings should be sent to the

relay by clicking the ‘Send’ icon

in the ‘File’ menu

Click ‘OK’ to send the 'ER'

setting

Select the 'Report' settings to be sent to the relay. The other settings need

not be selected.

Wait while the modified

settings are being uploaded

to the relay
