Process to register with BMS without an existing Ariba Network account

Step #

Description

1 Receive an email invite to complete your Registration (email invite comes from Ariba.com and it is titled “Mandatory: Bristol-Myers Squib Mandatory Request to Register Supplier Profile”.

NOTE: Release the email from Spam if needed

2 Choose first “Click here” link above to register for your Ariba Network (AN) account.

NOTE: Keep a record of your ID and Password for future reference.

3 On below screen presented, please click “Sign up” to create account.

4 Complete the Ariba Cloud Profile (this is not the BMS Registration form). The Cloud Profile establishes your company on the Ariba Network and you can use it to manage multiple customers that use Ariba, not just BMS. These are not BMS-requested questions, this information is being collected by Ariba to create your AN account. After filling out the required information, select “Create account and Continue” to create you AN account.

5 You will receive an email notification that your AN ID is set up. Note: If you receive email notification for light account, please note, this email triggers when you attempt to process order with BMS. Please note this email notification is for separate purposes and please continue with below steps to complete registration for BMS.

6 After your AN account is created you should be taken directly to the BMS Registration page. Please complete all required fields and submit. This is the information required by BMS in order to be paid. NOTE: You can save and come back to it later if needed, if there are questions, please use Help section in this document to reach out to BMS and/or Ariba Support

7 Once you submit registration to BMS, it will be route for approval. Once approved, you will receive the below notification:

Description

1 Receive email invite and select second “Click Here” to login with existing Ariba Network credentials. Email invite comes from Ariba.com and it is titled “Mandatory: Bristol-Myers Squib Mandatory Request to Register Supplier Profile”.

NOTE: Release the email from Spam if needed

2 When you click the link to log in with existing credentials, the supplier login page will display to login with your existing AN account.

3 If you initially clicked the link to create an AN account, but instead want to log in with your existing credentials, click the blue box that says “log in” and then continue logging in with your existing Ariba Network account.

4 Once logged into your Ariba Network account, the BMS Supplier Registration questionnaire will display, where you will complete the BMS requested information.

5 If you are not brought directly to the BMS registration, from your AN dashboard, click on the square icon (looks like a keypad) in the top right corner next to “Company Settings”. From the drop down, select Proposals as highlighted below. This will bring you to the page where you will find a link to the BMS Registration, as shown in the screenshot in step #6.

6 Select Bristol-Myers Squibb company name. From the BMS dashboard, you will see the Registration Questionnaire that you are invited to complete. Click on the Registration link and complete the questionnaire.

Note: in the below screenshot it shows the US Supplier Registration. Yours might be a different registration, like the EMEA Regional Registration, but the directions are the same.

General Tips

• Use Google Chrome if you are experiencing issues with any other browsers • Registration Timing out initially. The Registration will say “Closed” in the top right hand corner

1. I have issue with my Ariba Network login. Whom should I contact? Contact Ariba Help Desk for assistance. Please refer Help section above for Ariba contact information.

2. Is there cost associated to registering with BMS via Ariba Network? There is no cost to creating Ariba Network account and registering with BMS. Intent of this registration is so you can complete your company profile to provide details for payment purposes and to manage any changes to these details by yourself in future.

3. Is this registration for electronic invoicing?

No, this registration request is not for electronic invoicing. This registration enables you to manage your company profile and banking information exclusively for BMS.

4. What if the individual managing my company profile for BMS, leaves the company? Please refer Help section to contact BMS at supplierrequest@bms.com so your new primary contact can be set up to manage your company profile and banking info for BMS.

5. I received a Light Account registration email. Is this what I need to complete to register with BMS? No, this is not required for this request. Please note this is separate from the BMS registration requested in this document.
