The course is framed in the national education system, granting the student a degree when the entire 6 semesters are concluded, equivalent to 180 ECTS, in accordance with the Order 22143/2008, from 26 August, amended by the Order 9453/2013 from 18 July. Personal Statement

I belong to a generation which pursues its dreams, looks forward to the future and attend to its change for the better. As regards my choice of studies I can say that my motives derive from the influence of my family. We are a traditional, artistic, four-member family. My main inspiration is my father, who is an actor. He has been involved with the classical theatre for about thirty years as well as the TV and has taught drama education in schools. Following him closely in his tours with theatre companies, I was initiated by him into the spirit of drama. My mother, being an employee of the Ministry for Cultural Affairs, contributed into the evolvement of my personality. The fact that I grew up watching theatrical performances quite often, made me become a member of various theatrical groups in school and out of school and soon enough I realized that acting was what I wanted to do professionally in my life.

From the particular course of studies I will be able to broaden my horizons and I will acquire the necessary knowledge that will help me to evolve in the art world. Through my collaboration with other fellow students I will learn about the concept of team work, as well as the responsibility of staging a successful performance. It is well-known that Britain is a multicultural country and that will help me mingle with people of different cultural backgrounds and gain understanding and stimuli that I utilize.

I am in the final Lykeio year and my favourite subjects are the theoretical ones like Literature, where through prose and poems I transmit myself to the fantasy realm, or Essay Writing which helps me develop my critical appreciation and views on many issues. My grades are quite good as far as the theoretical subjects are concerned due to my inclination towards them; regarding the science ones my teachers failed to ignite my interest in them lacking the ability to be communicative. My level of English is very good and I have the Certificate of Proficiency of Michigan University.

My desire to study the subject I am interested in has led me to choose Britain as the place of my studies for a number of reasons. First of all it is a leading force in this area providing numerous options to everyone who studies there. Career prospects are very promising for graduates. From the sixteenth century the tradition of the English theatre has been widely known as many plays were written then along with the construction of impressive facilities of Globe Theatre and the Elizabethan Theatre. I find that the promotion of young talents is important and that is the reason I have decided to study in the UK.

I aspire, once I have completed my studies, to enter into theatrical production and work as an actress.

Generally, I am a tenacious person and my career expectations are high. I believe I work with diligence; I do not give up easily-something bordering perfectionism. I am a communicative person which is an advantage for an artist.

When you receive your Conditional or Un-conditional offer you will need to inform the University if you wish to accept your offer and FIRM your place.

When you FIRM your place you can procced with the following steps:

1) Apply for our Undergraduate Scholarships

2) Apply for your on campus Accommodation.

3) After Booking your flight tickets, apply for our Free Pick Up Service from Newcastle International Airport.

When you receive your Unconditional offer al-ready firm your place and apply for a room or for scholarships you will receive around Au-gust your Confirmation Email. (See aside for sample)

When you receive the confirmation email you are able to proceed with your online enrolment.
