How to become a McCann FitzGerald trainee

Come meet with McCann FitzGerald trainees and graduate recruitment team to learn how

you can progress your career with us

Tuesday 3 October 2017 1.00 - 2.00pm

Room 02A, House 39, Law School

Dear Students,

Welcome to the 2017 issue of the Law Fair booklet! This booklet aims to give you an introduction to organisations and upcoming careers events which should assist you in navigating the next steps of your journey.

One piece of advice I would give you at this stage, is to talk to as many people as possible. Do your research, meet the firm representatives and tailor your applications accordingly. Employers appreciate receiving an application that demonstrates a good understanding of the firm and motivation to work there. And you will benefit from understanding more about the culture of an organisation and what they have to offer.

As well as today, there are also a wide variety of employer-led presentations and skills sessions for you to choose from this term, which should give you an inside track on what both law and non law organisations are looking for in a graduate.

For example, Don’t miss out on Recruiter-in-Residence Sessions, giving you an opportunity to meet one-on-one with recruiters. Register in advance as these events book up early! Full details on these and other events are at MyCareer (http://www.tcd.ie/Careers/students/MyCareer-Students.php)

So, whether you want a career in commercial law or whether you have different ideas entirely, we are here to support you!

Happy Reading & Best of Luck!
