How to Apply for HyperWorks Student Edition v11.0

1. Open the link (https://secure.altair.com/onlinestore/)

2. Select Your Country as “India” & Display Price In as “US Dollar”.

3. Then Click on “log in”

4. A Login page will open as shown in the following image, Click on Create Account

5. A Login form will open, as shown below, fill the Login Form and Click on “submit”. Make sure

you should enter the correct EMAIL ID and also remember the username and password you entered because it

will be needed to download the license…

6. Enter the Activation Code which you have received on your Email ID which you have enter in

step 5. Then click on Submit.

7. Click on HyperWorks Student Edition Annual License.

8. Enter the Ethernet HostID (To get the Ethernet HostID please follow the below procedure).

i. Press Window key + R form Keyboard

ii. Type “ cmd ” and press ok. As shown below

iii. A command window will open as shown below.

iv. Here type “ ipconfig/all ” and press ‘ enter ’ from your keyboard.

v. Move towards top and find the Physical address of the machine, it may be

possible that the machine has multiple Physical address, you have to only

use Ethernet Adapter local Area Connection.

Note :- The Physical address is a 12 digit number where every 2 digits are

separated by a ‘ – ’ so in the website you have to provide without ‘ – ’. For

Example :- Here the Host ID is 5C-26-0A-42-34-4C

So on that link type ‘ 5C260A344C ’

Note:- if you are getting Physical address as 00-00-00-00-00-00-E0 then

don’t enter that as this will not work… to solve this issue you have to install

proper LAN drivers.

9. After that click on Add to Cart

10. Click on Checkout.

11. Then again click on HyperWorks Student Edition Annual License

12. Again enter the Ethernet HostID and click on Add To Cart.

13. Click on Checkout.

14. Enter the Free_EDU_India as Coupon Code: and then click on Redeem

15. Once Coupon code is successfully applied message will appear click on Place Order.

16. Note down the below mention Your Order Number : for further reference…

17. After this you will receive an email from Altair support team asking for scan copy of college

ID card and your details. You have to provide all the required details along with scan copy of

your college ID card to generate your 1 year Free license of HyperWorks Student Edition v11.
