    Step 1: Select the program

The Europe Basketball Academy offers seven different types of programs. Applicants are expected to assess their needs and choose a program that will help them elevate their current playing skills and support them in reaching their set career goals.

The Academy offers the following programs:

Pro Placement Program - recommended for professional basketball players who wish to continue their careers in some of the Europeans professional leagues. There are certain requirements regarding the minimum basketball skill and phys-ical ability applicant has to fulfill in order to become a part of the program. The goal of the program is to arrange professional opportunities for the participants and connect them to renown European agents and agencies upon the comple-tion of the program. Read more about the Pro Placement Program.

Academy Development Program - Perfect for players who wish to be pushed out of their comfort zones, work intensively to reach their full athletic poten-tial, and improve their basketball skills drastically. Participants can expect to improve their individual technique and playing tactic, while polishing up their overall game on the court. The workout system is based on the famous Yugo-slavian basketball system which produced over 50 NBA players in the last three decades. Read more about the Academy Development Program.

NCAA Prep Program - Recommended for individuals who wish to play basket-ball in the USA and are looking to apply for athletic scholarship. In addition to practices and workout programs, participants go through the SAT preparation. Real recruiters from US colleges will assess players’ abilities and give valuable feedback. Participants can expect to reach both academic and athletic stan-dards for getting their desired scholarship. Read more about the NCAA Prep Program.

Euro Prep Program - aimed at young players who do not hold a college de-gree yet, but wish to taste the world of professional basketball right after high school. The program includes intense workouts and practices, as well as the minimum of 30 games played against professional teams in Spain. Former par-ticipants find this program extremely useful because of the direct exposure to the way professionals play. Read more about the Euro Prep Program.

Specialist Program - designed to help participants become more versatile play-ers and perfect specific skills for different basketball positions. The program is organized in several small groups (maximum of 2 or 3 players per group) that are focused on a specific playing position. Participants can choose from five programs: Point Guard, Shooting Guard, Small Forward, Power Forward or Cen-ter program. Read more about the Specialist Program.

Junior Summer Program - a 2-week summer program in Barcelona designed for junior athletes. Boys and girls between 12 and 17 years old are eligible to apply. All the participants will gain fundamental basketball skills while enjoying the accompanying program: a visit to the Barcelona FC stadium, swimming schools, flamenco nights, etc. Read more about the Junior Summer Program.
