Wiki is a Hawai'i an term meaning very fast or “Quickly”. There are

multiple types of Wiki technology that share common benefits, such

as being accessible via the Web and allowing you and students to …

- Quickly edit/add content.- Quickly track changes through “history”- Quickly search for content.

- Quickly identify user contributions.- Quickly see relationships (links) among content.

The Faculty Wiki uses the “Media Wiki” technology, which is the

same technology as Wikipedia.
