DESCRIPTION

Learn the basics! When driving, put your feet shoulder length apart. Start with your hands griped loosely around the club. Then, swing the club up, and down, aiming to hit the ball. When chipping, feet shoulder length apart, loose grip, bring the club up and like chop at the grass. This should chip the ball up into the air towards the green. When putting, put your feet a few inches apart. Grab your putter, and have stiff arms! Keep the lower half of your body completely frozen while you gently move your arms to move the ball.

Major rule: NEVER ask another player from another team what club they used.

When the ball goes into a water hazard, you are allowed to (If you get the ball out) take it two clubs lengths away. However, it counts as a stroke.

If you lost a ball, you are allowed to take a second ball, but it counts as a stroke.

When driving, grip the club as if you are holding an egg. Loose enough to not break it, however, firm enough to not let it soar across the course. Gently raise the club up and make sure you’re aligned with yourself. Lower it back down, and take a swing. Make sure you are going all the way through and watching the ball at all times!

When you are putting.. Make sure that your feet are not too far apart. Just a few inches should do. Grab your putter and align the bar on the club to the ball. Very gently move the club back, making sure you are not moving your lower body at all, and hit the ball. The force of the swing depends on the cut of the grass, and whether or not and how much sand is on the green.

Have fun golfing!

Do not swing too hard yet. It is really tempting to give your swing that extra effort. However, it is not recommended unless you already have the control of your swing. The key to a powerful and graceful swing is the balance and control that you have, add to it the proper form and stance.

To hit the high ball, you have to produce more backspin, which is the result of more swing speed. Try gripping the club at its full length and making a bigger motion -- a higher follow-through and fuller finish

When hitting in the rough, I open the face of my 60-degree wedge slightly and grip the club a little tighter to keep the toe from flipping closed. Then I play the shot much like an explosion from a greenside bunker, keeping my upper body and lower body connected as I turn through the shot. The key is to start the wrist cock early and swing your arms on a more up-and-down plane. It also helps to have a high-spin ball to keep the shot from rolling out too far. So keep the clubface pointing to the sky through impact for higher shots that land softly.
