Maxwell ESM Extends Starting with Discharged Batteries*
Batteries alone will not start engine below 11.6 V
ESM will remain fully charged to start the engine if the battery voltage is greater than 9.5 V
Engine Control Unit will not function if batteries are discharged below 9.5 V
