How do I use my Digital Movie Creator Camera?
To record a video, press and hold the record button.
The record button must be held all the time you are making you video.
To stop making your video, release the record button.
Keep the camera steady!
With the record button held down, and the camera recording, wait 5 seconds before the action starts. This is especially important if someone is speaking in your film—it stops you accidentally chopping of the first few words they say. It is a good idea to shout ‘Action!’ like a true professional if people are acting in the film. When you are filming keep the camera steady·
When the action has finished, wait 5 seconds before letting go of the record button. This stops you from cutting off the last word that someone has said. It helps to shout ‘Cut!’ when you are about to stop filming to let theactors know that filming has stopped.
I've made my video what do I do?
I have filmed 2 clips on my camera, the number of clips is shown in the display. The dots around the edgeof the display show how much memory has been used on the camera which can film 4 minutes of live action.

How do I download my video?
To download the clips onto the computer put the camera onto its stand which must be plugged into the USB port on the computer.
Start up the Digital Blue Movie Creator software andyou should get a message ‘__ items on camera todownload’ click on the tick to download the clips.
Once the clips are downloaded onto the computer thecamera’s memory is wiped clean ready to film another 4minutes of live action.
The clips are loaded into the Temporary Collectionon the computer. Click once on a clip and click onPreview Item to see if you want to keep it.
Click on Play to view the clip.
If you want to keep it click on Transfer toPermanent One. If it is rubbish, click on the bin todelete it. Click on the cross to close the previewwindow.
Repeat this process for each of the clips in thetemporary collection. When you have finished, click onthe Close Collection cross at the bottom of thewindow.
