Complete Sentences

• A complete sentence is a group of words that has a complete thought. It must have a subject and a verb.

Correct Punctuation

• At the end of each sentence correct punctuation is needed to support your sentence.

Use a question mark (?) after asking a question.

Use a period (.) at the end of a statement or command.

Use an exclamation point (!) at the end of a sentence to show strong feelings, a command, or something surprising.
