Who can use Office365 ProPlus?

All students and faculty members (except adjunct teachers) of Hosei University can install Office365

Proplus.

You can install it to up to five personal devices such as Windows PC, Mac PC, tablet terminal, or

smartphone.

You can use following all software by installing Office365 ProPlus: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote,

Outlook, Lync, Access, Publisher, and InfoPath.

*You must uninstall all software of Office365 ProPlus when you are no longer a student or faculty

member of Hosei University.

How can I install Office365 ProPlus?

1. Open the web browser (Safari, Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, or Mozilla Firefox etc.) and access to

following URL.

Microsoft Online Sign-in: https://www.office.com/

2. Click [Can’t access your account?].

3. Click [Work or school account].

4. Enter your Hosei’s Gmail address (@stu.hosei.ac.jp, @hosei.ac.jp, @adm.hosei.ac.jp) in “User ID” and

enter the characters in the box below.

Click [Next].

5. Click [Email].

6. Check your Hosei’s Gmail inbox and copy your code number.

7. Back to the browser and paste the code number.

Click [Next].

8. Enter password and click [Finish]. Your new password has been reset.

9. Click “To sign in with your new password, [click here]”.

10. Click [Work or school account].

11. Enter your password and click [Sign in].

12. Click [No].

13. Click [Install Office apps] pulldown menu and choose “Office 2016”.

Start Installing Office365.

14. Click [Run].

15. Click [Yes].

16. It will take few minutes to complete installing Office365.

17. Click [Close].

The installation of Office365 is now completed.

18. Open Excel for example and click [Accept and start Excel].

19. Click [Sign in] at the upper right side and sign in with your Hosei’s Gmail address.

Click [Next].

Enabling your account in Microsoft software is now completed.
