How to activate update rules for an InfoSource

How to activate transfer rules for an InfoSource

If you get the error below, you have to activate the update rules for the InfoSource

Start by opening the system with TCODES SCC4 and SE03

Once the system is open, click on the InfoPackage (IP) which needs the update rules activated. Click on the header tab and copy (ctrl+c) the data target

From Modeling, click on Data Targets and do a search for the data target (ctrl + v)

Click here

Right click on the data target and select Change

Click on the activate button

Note: The system might ask you for a workbench request. If this happens create a dummy workbench request and proceed.

Once the update rules are activated. Make sure to

1) Close the system

2) Re-run the IP

3) Delete the dummy workbench request using TCODE SE10
