Open Internet Explorer and point to https://remote.houstonisd.org enter your Active Directory username and password and select Login

Install AnyConnect Secure Mobility ActiveX Control by accepting the necessary prompts and selecting Install.

During User Account Control allow the installer to make the necessary changes.

Select Install to accept software installation and allow client to finalize necessary updates/installation

After installation is completed the Client will be connected to the VPN tunnel and user is able to proceed to access the desired HISD internal resources.

If the installation has already been completed once on the local computer the user can launch the Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client from the System Tray and select connect to authenticate to the VPN server in order to connect one more time.
