Strengths and Opportunity As discussed, Housing Visions is a very solid organization.

◦ Able to develop and construct well◦ excel at property management◦ have a great mission in mind with all the work they do.

Opportunities for Housing Visions: expansion into new territories

Page 26: Housing Visions

Weakness: Negative Media Housing Visions needs to develop a better relation with the press

Page 27: Housing Visions

Weakness: HousingVisions.org Website needs to be updated to fit the modern times. Trends in society show that people generally avoid large blocks of text, preferring twitter style news and visual stimulants. Update the website to show more interaction for the visitor

No Donate Now button, non profits generally operate on donations of others. Extra revenue never hurt anyone.

Simplify. Make applications easier to find, success and failures (what we've learned) should be highlighted from the initial visit.

Page 28: Housing Visions

Weakness: Lack of Marketing Housing Visions need a new Marketing position in the organization

◦ Brand Development◦ Build Awareness within communities more◦ Grant Writer◦ Event Planner◦ Proactive approach to social media◦ Graphic Design and IT background◦ Apply marketing behaviors into facilitative plans◦ Align with the private sector for advertising and paid media selections

Page 29: Housing Visions

Threats: Internal Effects Must be sure to continue to follow LEED standards for green living

Avoid foreclosure rates, ensure rent payment is prompt

Housing Visions must ensure that they continue to strategically select their locations for construction.
