We try to keep the campers busy with a good mix of productive gymnastics training and non-gymnastics related activities. Your gymnast will also be provided the opportunity to experience life on a college campus and develop relationships with the other campers and the UW-Oshkosh Gymnastics Team. The Titan women’s gymnastics program has had a long legacy of success garnering 12 top-3 National Championship finishes and 29 top-3 Conference/Regional Championship finishes, along with 27 individual National Championship titles since its inception. Each room has two beds, micro-refrigerator, desks, shelves, dressers and closets. Bed linens, pillows and spreads are not furnished. Bring your own pillows, sleeping bags, towels and toiletries. Campers will be supervised in the residence hall by our UWO collegiate gymnasts. Whether you commute or stay in a residence hall you may eat at the commons. You’ll choose from a wide variety of food, including a salad bar, two delicious entrees per meal and a table crowded with desserts. Meals are served all-you-can-eat cafeteria style. LAUREN KARNITZ

Lauren Karnitz is in her ninth season as the

head coach at UW-Oshkosh. During the 2013-

14 season, Coach Karnitz was named WIAC

Conference Coach of the Year and NACGC/W

Division III West Region Coach of the Year as

a result of the team qualifying to Nationals.

Over the past nine years, she has had gymnasts

garner 12 All-Americans and nine Academic All-

Americans.

KRYSTAL WALKER

Krystal Walker completed her collegiate

gymnastics career in 2015-16, after which she took

on an assistant coaching role at UW-Oshkosh.

Walker’s athletic accolades include; 10-time All-

American, 7-time WIAC All-Conference, 4-time

WIAC Gymnast of the Week, All-Sportsmanship

Team, NACGC/W West Region Gymnast of the

Year, and NCAA DI Regional Qualifier. Aside from

her collegiate gymnastics accolades, Walker was

also a professional ballroom dancer and majored

in Kinesiology.

JON HOVDA

Jon Hovda is in his second season as an

assistant coach at UW-Oshkosh. Coach Hovda

is the owner of a gymnastics club called SAGA

Sports in Suamico, Wis. and has 20-plus years

of gymnastics coaching experience. Hovda has

coached numerous club State, Regional, and

National champions – many of whom have gone

on to compete at the collegiate level. Hovda was

a professional water skier for eight years and has

coached skiing for 23 years.

CANCELLATIONS

Your fee less the $50 nonrefundable deposit, will

be refunded without question if you cancel your

enrollment two weeks prior to the first day of camp.

Any time after the first day of camp, refunds (less

the $50 nonrefundable deposit), will be made only

for medical reasons. Requests for refunds must be in

writing and accompanied by a signed excuse from

your physician. Campers who must leave during the

week due to illness or injury, will receive a prorated

refund based on the number of sessions attended.

Requests for refunds must be made within three

months of the conclusion of the camp.

LATE REGISTRATION

Enrollment is limited. For additional information or

for anyone registering less than two weeks before

June 1, 2017.

CANCELLATIONS

Your fee less the $50 nonrefundable deposit, will

be refunded without question if you cancel your

enrollment two weeks prior to the first day of camp.

Any time after the first day of camp, refunds (less

the $50 nonrefundable deposit), will be made only

for medical reasons. Requests for refunds must be in

writing and accompanied by a signed excuse from

your physician. Campers who must leave during the

week due to illness or injury, will receive a prorated

refund based on the number of sessions attended.

Requests for refunds must be made within three

months of the conclusion of the camp.

LATE REGISTRATION

Enrollment is limited. For additional information or

for anyone registering less than two weeks before

the camps begin, email Coach Karnitz at marenol@

uwosh.edu. Registrations after June 1, 2017 require

full payment.
