The Resettlement Agency, which now runs the Units for the DSS, wasunaware of this development which seemsconfined to Walkden. Staff at Walkdenjustify the move on the grounds that they'vehad trouble with this age group, and say theembargo will be lifted in a few weeks.CHAR and other homelessnessorganisations are protesting to the agencyover this attempt to ditch responsibility forunder-25-year-olds.
