Let us pray. Heavenly Father, Your word is truth and powerful. May these Representatives and staff and all who serve in this place obey the words You have given to us. May we be courageous in carrying out the message given by You. Make us strong to do Your will and provide for the good of this State. Bless our Nation, President, State, Governor, Speaker, staff, and all who contribute to this Assembly. Protect our defenders of freedom as they protect us. Heal the wounds, those seen and those hidden, of our brave warriors who suffer and sacrifice for our freedom. Lord, in Your mercy, hear our prayer. Amen.

Pursuant to Rule 6.3, the House of Representatives was led in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America by the SPEAKER.

After corrections to the Journal of the proceedings of yesterday, the SPEAKER ordered it confirmed.
