Frontline enables and supports people with a learning disability and high support needs to live full and productive lives through their active inclusion within the Brentwood community.
We offer community-based experiences specifically to people with a learning disability and high support needs who are at risk of being excluded from many of the simple pleasures and experiences of everyday life. A vital part of F R O N T L I N E ’ S role is building acceptance and inclusion for all and helping to develop a culture that takes community inclusion for granted.
Community WorksCommunity Works is at the heart of Frontline’s activities, illustrating what happens when we tap into the rich resources the community has to offer. Frontline strives to ensure that everyone, including people with complex needs, are accepted and celebrated for who they are and experience the satisfaction of ‘belonging’ in the wider community. The Community Works! Newsletter is published bi-monthly.

HoursWorthHoursWorth Supported Employment enables people with high support needs to access paid work in the local community.
Crown Café Crown Café, based at Sawyers Church, employs people with a learning disability who serve the community in the Olive Branch lunch club, Lite Bite café and Colours coffee shop. Crown Café has also expanded into other community venues such as Montbazon Court and caters for occasional community events.
Café ArtCafé Art enables people with a learning disability to express their creativity and produce attractive artwork within a relaxed and friendly café environment.
Community Links Forum,is an opportunity, throughour community breakfasts,for individuals or groups toconnect up and ‘buildcommunity’ together.
The GatesThe Gates aims to ‘buildcommunity’ through horticulture,offering opportunities to developnew skills and interests.
StarburstStarburst dance nights, held at alocal venue, are popular withyoung people with and without disabilities.
Bridge the GapBridge the Gap offers anopportunity for people agedbetween 20 and 30 to gettogether and access theirlocal community.
Tuesday ClubTuesday Club is a SawyersChurch activity, supported byFrontline, offering club nights,countryside walks andcommunity-based activities.
Frontline BulgariaThe Frontline Bulgaria projecthas now ceased and all operational responsibilities havebeen transferred to Bulgarian NGO’s.
DramaAdults with a learning disabilityare supported to facilitate weeklydrama workshops for children inlocal primary schools.
