Enjoy a sunset landing into the stunningly scenic Mammoth-Yosemite airport surrounded by snowcapped peaks. Hop in one of the complimentary Mammoth Mountain hospitality shuttles which will take you directly to The Village Lodge, located in the heart of town. Fuel up for the upcoming day with a famous burger at 53 Kitchen & Cocktails, just steps away in The Village then hit the dance floor for a little live music before calling it an early night in anticipation of the upcoming powder day.

SATURDAY

The early bird gets the pow! Head out the door to the free Village Gondola which takes you straight to Canyon Lodge, and since you reloaded your ticket card online from your last trip, skip the ticket line and snag first chair at 8:30am. The avy bombs have been popping off Lincoln Mountain since sunrise and the Avy Chutes are calling your name for first tracks in some of the best snow on the mountain. After hours of thigh-deep freshies, refuel with a carne asada burrito at McCoy Station then get back out there.

SUNDAY

A few days of classic Eastern Sierra storms has set the snowpack up for prime lines on The Hemlocks. Eager to explore the new and improved local’s favorite, which now features man-made platforms and jumps, you hit the backside early and take the short hike up to the top. The enhanced Hemlocks bowl is full of fun hits and more flow and airtime, and after a few laps, you’re ready for famous Tusks Bar Bacon Bloody Mary at Main Lodge – you’ve earned it.

FRIDAY 1 PM: Fly into Jackson Hole Airport – The only airport located in a national park! Take Grand Targhee Shuttle to the mountain.4 PM: Check into your room. We suggest the Teewinot Lodge for slopeside access. 5 PM: Catch après at the Trap Bar and Grill with live music, a local draft beer or specialty cocktail, and a bison burgerfor dinner. 7 PM: Hit the heated outdoor saltwater pool and hot tub and then off to bed. Get plenty of rest because without the crowds, you’ll rack up plenty of vertical feet by lunch!

SATURDAY 7 A M: Snorkel’s for an El Jefe Breakfast Burrito to fuel up for your day.8 A M: Early Tracks - enjoy fresh runs on a guided tour before the lifts open.N O O N : Order a plate of the famous Wydaho Nachos and a local brew at the Trap Bar & Grill.2 PM: Earn your turns and burn your lunch with a hike up Mary’s Nipple.
