Inspiration for this luxurious hotel was drawn from local artists and the true artisan nature of the indigenous painters, sculptors and basket-weavers. Soothing sounds, flowing water and a warming fire will welcome guests. Beyond the lobby lies the tranquility of a garden embraced by the landscape with the canopies of cottonwood trees soaring overhead.

The hotel’s orientation celebrates the certain alignments with the sun and moon on a daily basis, as well as certain times throughout the year, inspired by the pattern of the ancient structures of Chaco Canyon.

Hotel Chaco will include an extensive art program celebrating local and regional artists with unique artwork integral to the guestrooms and landscape and found throughout the public spaces.
