INEOS – expanding at Chocolate Bayou complex near Alvin. $75 million investment. 300

construction workers. 5 new direct company jobs.

Kinder Morgan - $75 million to build 5 new tanks for refined products in Galena Park.

LyondellBasell – expanding at its existing ethane cracker in Channelview and expanding

at La Porte; cost is estimated at $500 million for both projects. The Channelview project will

create 70 R & D jobs and more in chemical production.

Mitsui & Company Ltd. and Idemitsu Kosan Company Ltd. – building an alpha olefins

chemical plant at Dow Chemical’s Freeport location.

Mitsubishi Chemical Holdings may build a new chemical plant (resins) in Freeport –

estimated $590 to $710 million project.

OCI, subsidiary of Natgasoline LLC, - expanding methanol production in Beaumont. This

will be the largest methanol plant in the U.S. 240 jobs. Capital investment more than $1

billion.

ONEOK Partners – building a new NGL fractionator in Mont Belvieu. $300 to $390 million.

Phillips 66 - planning NGL fractionator in Old Ocean. 25 full time jobs. Hundreds of

temporary construction jobs.

Port Arthur LNG Export Terminal is planned. $10 billion investment. The facility would

generate about 45,000 direct and indirect U. S. jobs.

TPC Group Inc. - planning a Polyisobutylene expansion in Houston. 25 jobs.

Tenaris – spending $1.5 billion to build a steel pipe plant in Matagorda County. 600 new

jobs. Avg. salary is estimated at $66,000.

Tenaris – building a $70 million rods mill in

Conroe. 200 new jobs.

Targa in Galena Park is investing $480 million

to expand. Construction jobs: 270.
