SARAH M. CLARK MOTHERS, DEACONESS AND MISSIONARY MINISTRIES PRAYER BREAKFAST—SATURDAY, OCTOBER 28TH Tickets are on sale for the Annual Prayer Breakfast, jointly sponsored
by the Sarah M. Clark Mothers, Deaconess and Missionary Ministries.
Tickets are $15.00 and available in the Fellowship Hall or online. This
year’s theme is “Praying for a Fresh Anointing On Our World”.
The breakfast is from 9:00am—1:00pm; doors open at 8:15am.
COUPLES MINISTRY PRESENTS LET’S STAY TOGETHER—BACK TO THE BASICS OF MARRIAGE—SATURDAY, OCTOBER 21ST On Saturday, October 21st, 9:00am—1:00pm, the Couples Ministry
presents Let’s Stay Together—Back to the Basics of Marriage , designed to
encourage, equip and edify the covenant of marriage between a
husband and a wife. Rev. Dr. James and Rev. Kathy Kuykendall will
be the guest presenters. The cost is $20.00 per person (singles are also
welcome). Please sign up in the Fellowship Hall today following
services. You may also register onsite.

Beginning TODAY, the Mothers Ministry is pleased to invite all seniors,
age 64 and older to be blessed with a free breakfast at Café ‘N-Between
following the 8:00am service. Please visit the Senior Table at the
entrance to the Café to pick up a ticket that will entitle you to breakfast.

COUPLES MINISTRY BOOK SALE The Couples Ministry is selling two books at discounted rates. “The
Art of Marriage Live Manual” is $5.00 and “The Right One, How to
Successfully Date and Marry the Right Person” is $10.00. Please visit
the Couples table in the Fellowship Hall today to purchase your copy.
DEACONS MINISTRY A Resident Deacon will be in the office to assist the membership with
dire needs and may be reached by phone at 201-500-6001: Monday-
Samuel Williams; Tuesday-Richard Stanard; Wednesday-Harold
Oliver; Thursday-Joe Jackson; Friday-Paul Thomas.
Also, Deacon Ryan Davis-201-805-2248 and Deacon James Daffin-
201-805-2249 will be on hand for the week to make or receive phone
calls and visitations.
The Deacons Ministry would like to remind the congregation to
please notify the Church Office as soon as possible in the event
of a member’s illness or death. You will receive a follow-up
telephone call.

PRAYER & BIBLE STUDY Prayer and Bible Study will be held on Tuesday, October 17th.
Prayer is at 7:00pm followed by Bible Study at 8:00pm. Please note,
Young Adult Bible Study is also on Tuesday evening at 8:00pm.
Strength at Noon is on Tuesday at 12:00 noon with lunch served at
11:30am.
IMPACT MEN’S BIBLE STUDY IMPACT Men’s Bible Study will meet on Saturday, October 21st at
8:30am. Pastor Taylor encourages all men to join in this powerful
time of prayer, bible study and fellowship.

SUNDAY SCHOOL NEEDS TEACHERS
The CBC Sunday School urgently needs volunteers who enjoy
working with children to serve as teachers and classroom assistants.

NEW LIFE WOMEN’S MINISTRY COLLECTING
ITEMS FOR THE ANNUAL THANKS-GIVING
EXCHANGE AND TX HURRICANE SURVIVORS The New Life Women’s Ministry is collecting items for the 2017
THANKS-GIVING Exchange that takes place on Monday, November
13th. The ministry is also collecting baby items to donate to Texas
hurricane survivors through the Star of Hope Missions Center in
Houston. The Exchange collection will run through November 6th.
Please donate new or gently used items—see a list of requested items in
the lobby bins or on the website for each collection. Please note, this
year for the Exchange, we will not be collecting hats, jeans or sweats
(pants or shirts).
