By drying filter cake up to 90% solids the weight and volume of the filter cake can be reduced, thereby reducing disposal costs. Operation is as simple as connecting the Watromat dryer to the sludge container and pressing the start button. The Watromat system is competitively priced, has extremely low energy requirements, and is available in a wide range of sizes to match specific re- quirements.
