I. HOW TO ACCESS YOUR HOSTING CONTROL PANEL AND SWITCH BETWEEN YOUR SUBSCRIPTIONS
1. Login to your account at https://ppa.marcaria.net/ with your username and password
2. Choose a Hosting Plan or Subscription from the drop-down menu on the top right-
hand corner of the screen

II. Home: PLAN SPECIFICATIONS
All resource usage: here you will find a detailed description of your Hosting plan’s
characteristics, as well as a report of the current use, limits and capacity of each item.
1. To access your plan’s resource usage log, click the link below the subscription
name on the home page.
2. Here is an example of the resources associated to a Linux Basic Hosting Plan

III. Webspaces: HOW TO CREATE AND CONFIGURE YOUR WEBSPACES
1. Create a New Webspace: This feature allows you to add domains to your hosting
plan.
2. Current webspace: This shows you which domain you have selected to modify.
3. Switch to webspace: This link allows you to switch between domains easily in order
to manage your email Accounts and websites.

IV. Users: HOW TO CREATE USER ACCOUNTS AND CONFIGURE ACCESS
1. Create User Account: This feature allows you to add users, configure the access
granted for each user, change the control panel’s language and create and modify
passwords.
2. Role: This refers to the role each user is assigned within the Hosting Plan. Only the
Hosting plan owner can assign the secondary users and modify their Accounts.
3. User Roles: This tab allows the Hosting Plan Owner account to modify the access
granted to each Role.

V. HOW TO CHANGE A USER’S PASSWORD
1. Click on the name of the user you would like to update
2. Click on the option “Change Settings”
3. Generate or create a new password and click “OK” to complete the update. Also you
can set your language preference.

VI. Statistics: TRAFFIC AND STORAGE CAPACITY
1. Disk Space: Storage capacity that has been used and the percentage of consumption
of each resource.
2. Traffic: Traffic capacity you have used to date.
3. Detailed report of the website and email service’s use of traffic and the amount of
visitors your website has received in the month.

VII. Files: HOW TO ACCESS AND MANAGE YOUR WEBSITE’S FILES AND FOLDERS
1. Upload Files: Access files on your computer and devices and upload them to the
server in order to build your website.
2. New: Create a new file or folder.
3. More: Add or extract a compressed file, calculate a specific folder’s size and change
the date.
Please note the Webpresence + Email Free Service does not include databases and will only
allow you to build websites through Presence Builder application, available in Websites tab.

VIII. Applications: APPLICATIONS AVAILABLE FOR EASY INSTALLATION1
Your Hosting Control Panel has a number of easy-to-use pre-configured applications to
help you get started with your website.
1. Featured Applications: WordPress, Drupal and Joomla
2. All Available Applications: Find the complete list of applications available
3. Manage My Applications: Configure and delete your installed applications

IX. DNS: HOW TO ACCESS AND MODIFY YOUR DOMAIN’S RECORDS
1. Under the DNS Tab, click on the Domain name you want to modify
2. Click on the DNS Tab
3. Then click on the option “DNS Records” in the sub-menu that appears
4. Finally, click on the option “Add New DNS Record” or “Delete” to make changes

X. Mail: CREATING AND CONFIGURING EMAIL ACCOUNTS
1. Create Email Address: Set-up a new email address for your domain.
2. Change Settings: Access and make changes to the configuration of ALL the email
accounts you have set up. Choose the webmail application of your preference and
configure “Catch-all” email forwarding and automatic answers from non-existent email
accounts.
3. Modifications to an existing email address: Click on an email address to change
the log-in password, define the allowed inbox capacity granted for that account,
redirect emails, create email aliases, configure automatic responses and modify the
antispam and antivirus configurations.

XI. Websites: WEBSITE ADMINSTRATION
In the menus on the control panel under this tab you will find a number of useful tools to help
you set up your website.
1. Web Hosting Access: Check the IP address and create system users (username and
password)
2. FTP Access: Access your FTP accounts directly from your control panel
3. Backup Manager: Manage your security back-ups
4. Databases: Direct access to your database administrator
5. Scheduled Tasks: Monitor and program tasks
6. MS SQL ADMIN: Direct access to your MS SQL2 databases
7. Resource Usage: Find a summary of the storage and traffic capacity
8. Add New Subdomain: Create a new sub-domain
9. Add a New Domain Alias: Add and configure a new alias for your domain.
2 This feature is only available for Windows Advanced and Professional Plans.

10. Website Menu: By clicking the arrow below your Domain name, you can access other
features available, such as Presence Builder to create a website, add SSL certificates
and choose PHP version.
To manage a different domain, change your selection at Webspaces tab.
