Our team of Canadian engineers can assist with network
design, cloud architecture, cloud migration and a whole suite
of other cloud related services. We have seen what works well
in the cloud and what does not, so that we can help guide you
on your cloud journey.
Another way to leverage the cloud is backup and disaster
recovery. Historically cloud backup was expensive and
restoring these backups was always difficult. With the DRaaS
capabilities at HostedBizz, cloud technologies have made
the creation of a full DR capability affordable, reliable and
very fast. Our engineering team can work with you to create
disaster recovery plans and facilitate full test restores to ensure
that the process is understood and repeatable under a disaster
scenario.

Our Cloud Infrastructure
Having your data physically located in Canada,
managed by an all Canadian company, running in
UTI certified Tier 3 facilities owned and operated
by Rogers ensures that there are no issues with
data sovereignty or risks of falling foul of The
Patriot Act. Tier 3 certification is an indication
of the integrity of the redundancy and failover
systems at our data centres. To achieve this
certification, these facilities offer the highest level
of physical and IT security along with redundant
power grids, multiple internet providers and
redundant backup power.
The HostedBizz Cloud operates within a VMware
High Availability hypervisor environment.
VMware is the industry leader for enterprise
grade virtaulization. The use of VMWare ensures
excellent reliability as well as being compatible
with other VMware workloads making migration
to and from the HostedBizz Cloud seamless. The
use of VMware HA ensures that any equipment
failure within our cloud environment does not
effect any production workloads as failover is
totally automatic and transparent to our users.
We provide VMware vCloud Director portal
access into our cloud environment to allow our
clients to provision servers, adjust resources,
back up servers, clone servers, create snapshots
or hibernate servers all within a couple of mouse
clicks. This flexibility to leverage the scale of our
public cloud, private cloud or hybrid environments
is the cornerstone of the elastic computing
capability at HostedBizz.
Our Compute environment is built on enterise
grade Dell blade solutions with full GPU
capabilities. Our data storage SANs are built on
NetApp storage arrays with all data stored in
replicated RAID-10 configurations. This makes our
SAN fabric extremely redundant and allows us to
offer 4 tiers of storage from blisteringly fast SSD
storage through to archival storage for long term
retention purposes. All network connectivity is
provided through diverse-path fibers. These fibers
feed into redundant routers and switches from the
core all the way to the network edge.
With our Virtual Private Servers (VPS) operating
within a VMware HA environment all of the
compute resources such as RAM, hard drive,
network cards, etc. can be configured instantly to
ensure that compute resources are optimized for
our customers applications. This industry leading
technology is backed by our phenomenal 99.99%
uptime guarantee/SLA. No minimum purchase
commitments, no long term commitments, the
HostedBizz Cloud is totally dynamic.
We also allow our customers to place their VM
Machines into a dormant state by turning off all
of the resources but keeping the images. These
images can be restored to active machines in
seconds. A dormant machine can typically reduce
the cost by around 85%.
HostedBizz fully commits compute, RAM and
storage resources to each VM which results in
superior performance when compared to hyper-
cloud providers.

CloudServers
Self-service provisioning of dedicated (guaranteed) compute resources,
highest Service Level Agreement, elastic resourcing with real-time cloud
meter and hourly billing. Available with installed OS or bare metal.
CloudBackup
Built for high traffic environments, supports backup of physical and
virtual servers, regardless of physical location or server OS. Supports
secure database backup environments such as MS SQL, MS Exchange
(Full, Block and Brick Level) email and other popular business
applications.
VeeamCloud
Backup
Utilize HostedBizz Tier III Data Centre Facilities to leverage Veeam’s
Backup and Replication Availability Suite. As a Veeam Cloud & Service
Provider, HostedBizz provides the full suite of Veeam Backup and
Replication products including Canada’s fastest growing Veeam Cloud
Connect target.
FileSync
Bare Metal backup differs from traditional backup in that a snapshot
of the entire server is taken – files, applications and the OS. This copy
allows near instantaneous restore to a replacement physical, virtual or
cloud server with near-zero RTO (Recovery Time Objective) and an RPO
(Recovery Point Objective).
DisasterRecovery
FileSync allows users to create, share and synchronize files a folders
so that they appear to be the same folder (with the same contents)
regardless of which device is used to view it including through a web
portal. A true business grade file sync product with superior security
and administrative feature sets.
Lack of bandwidth is a common hurdle in getting clients to move
to a cloud infrastructure. HostedBizz provisions private network
connectivity from client locations directly into our data centers with
MPLS, QoS and unlimited internet access at no additional cost.

HostedBizz offer a full suite of Microsoft solutions hosted on our all
Canadian owned cloud infrastructure. Hosted Exchange, Sharepoint,
Dynamics, Skype for Business form an integral part of our Microsoft

Office 365Backup
Office 365 is fast becoming the defacto desktop solution for end users.
