Simple Upgrade Provides Security & ValueThe HT RFID electronic lock upgrade provides great value by decreasing installation time, maintaining the UL fire rating for all Onity prepared doors and reducing time spent cleaning the read heads. The locks are also compatible with current Onity front desk systems: HT22, HT24 and OnPoint.

Current HT customers can easily upgrade to the HT RFID locking system with little interruption to the property’s daily operations. Flexibility....ReliabilityThe OnPoint encoder is Onity’s newest hospitality product, providing a number of new features for the front desk staff.

The color touch-screen interface with Quick Action buttons make the encoder simple to use. The encoder offers “hot swap” encoder decks, making it easy and affordable for hotels to upgrade card technologies without replacing the entire front desk system. OperationThanks to the write back feature of the HT28 Smart locks, each use of the staff card is also registered into the Smart card chip. During the routine of revalidation, stored information is uploaded from the card to the system database allowing hotel management to access information and create customized reports at anytime, such as:• Individual staff tracking report (who, where, when)• Engineering reports • Low battery report • Lock status report• Special assignment reports (i.e. mini-bar checks, contract employee checks, etc.)• Individual productivity analysis

SensorStat® is a state-of-the-art digital thermostat and occupancy sensing setback controller. Its intelligent technology manages the energy consumption of HVAC systems. SensorStat can control most HVAC systems and is used in hotels, college residences and other types of buildings.

SensorStat uses two devices to determine the occupancy status of a room: a passive infrared (PIR) sensor and a flush-mounted door switch. When a door opens and closes, the door switch signals SensorStat to search for occu-pants. The PIR senses both body heat and motion, so it only acknowledges people, not blowing curtains or ceiling fans in the room. Once a presence is detected, SensorStat locks into Occupied Mode giving control of

the thermostat to the occupant, and directs the HVAC system to accurately adjust the temperature of the room to the occupant’s selected setting.

When the occupant leaves the room, the door switch again triggers the PIR in SensorStat to check for occupants. After it is determined that the room has been unoccupied for a certain number of minutes (which is selectable), SensorStat goes into Unoccupied Mode and automatically sets the room temperature back to a comfortable, yet energy-saving level (setback). While in Unoccupied Mode, the PIR continuously searches for motion and if a presence is detected at any time, SensorStat immediately goes back into Occupied Mode.

Setback temperatures are programmable for each individual property’s requirements, and they never allow a room to become too cool or warm. This enables the HVAC to quickly adjust to the occupant’s set temperature when SensorStat is returned to Occupied Mode.

CONTROL

Onity’s patented "5 Star Comfort" Humidity Control monitors, man-ages and reduces a room’s humid-ity level for the occupant’s comfort. It also enables significant savings on equipment by preventing mold and mildew damage.

The most favorable conditions for mold and mildew are temperatures above 72°F and relative humidity above 60%. The SensorStat® DDC has an optional humidity module that can be added to maintain a room environment outside the mold and mildew zone.Once the SensorStat DDC reaches

its summer setback temperature in the Unoccupied or Unsold mode, it reads the room’s relative humidity. If the humidity is less than 60%, the SensorStat DDC will function normally to maintain temperature in the room within the setback limits. However, anytime the relative humidity reaches above 60%, the SensorStat DDC will turn on the HVAC system and reduce the temperature to 72°F. The temperature will then be allowed to rise to its setback point, at which point the humidity level is read again. As soon as the relative humidity falls below 60%, the system resumes normal operation; however, if the relative humidity is still above 60% the cycle will be repeated.
