HOD Rapid Response Team
Taskforce Aim:We will achieve a 10% reduction in our
“Codes Outside of ICU” rate by December 2007
Why is this important to our patients?
• Most patients who have a cardiac arrest have identifiable signs of deterioration 6-8 hrs prior to arrest
• The Rapid Response Team has been implemented to “rescue” any patient who may become unstable and need immediate medical attention
